Tidying up your closet: The Marie Kondo way

Is your closet messy? How about you try to change your ways and commit to a habit that will change your life? Marie Kondo will guide you through an easy-to-follow instruction in tidying up your closet that will surely bring a huge impact to your life!

Step 1: Gather all your clothes from the closet.

Take out all your clothes from your closet and put them in one area.

Step 2: Sort those clothes according to which sparks joy to you and which do not.

Classify your clothes as to which one sparks joy and which one does not. You will know that your clothes spark joy when they give you a happy feeling.

Step 3: Discard items that do not spark joy.

After classifying, it is time for you to let go of things that do not spark joy. Thank those items first before letting them go!

Step 4: For clothes that spark joy, fold them into half, then into thirds.

Keep those items that spark joy. Before storing them, you have to fold the clothes. The first step in folding is to send love to your clothes by pressing them with care. After that, fold the clothes into half, and then, into thirds. Make sure that it stands when you release them on a flat surface.

Step 5: Store folded clothes in a vertical position.

Finally, keep the clothes in your closet in a vertical position.
