How to go to Bintan

Bintan is the most promoted beach in Indonesia. (Well, next to Bali!) This island is at least 45 minutes away from Singapore depending on which point you are entering.

From Singapore, you have to take a ferry at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. There are three entry points in Bintan: Tanjung Pinang, Bandar Bentan Telani and Bintan Lagoon Resort.

Tanjung Pinang is the capital of Bintan and it is 2 hours away from Singapore. Bandar Bentan Telani is where the famous resorts in Bintan are located, and it is 1 hour away from Singapore. Bintan Lagoon Resort is 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Singapore.

When boarding the ferry, be at the terminal 1 hour and 30 minutes before the ferry departs. You need to check-in, go through immigration and board the ferry 20 minutes before the departure.

Enjoy your holiday in Bintan!
