Five things to see in Taipei

Taiwan is one of the beautiful places to visit in the world. It is famous for its street food snacks. Among these are bubble milk tea, mango shaved ice and deep fried chicken.

When you are traveling to Taiwan and you have limited days in Taipei, below are the five must-see places that you may visit:

1. Taipei 101

Taipei 101 should not be missed! It was once regarded as the tallest tower from the year 2004 to 2010. It was formerly called Taipei World Financial Center, and is a famous landmark in the district of Xinyi, Taipei.

2. National Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall

Obviously, Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall was built in memory of the first President of the Republic of China, Chiang Kai Shek. It is located east of the Liberty Square in Zhongzheng district, and is a famous national landmark and tourist attraction.

3. Peace Memorial Park

Peace Memorial Park is a historical site located in the district of Zhongzheng. This park is a tribute to the victims of the 1947 Japanese occupation.

4. Dr Sun Yat Sen Memorial House

Dr Sun Yat Sen Memorial house is located in Zhongzheng District. It is a memorial, small house dedicated to Dr Sun Yat Sen. A garden and a pond surround this area and add beauty to the place.

5. National Concert Hall

National Concert Hall is located at the south side of the Liberty Square. Opposite of it is the National Theatre Hall. These two are twin performing art venues, which host major performances in Taipei.

These five places are all located in the central area. Thereby, they can all be visited by foot.
