Angsana Bintan

Angsana is one of the many resorts in Bintan. It houses a private beach and a range of activities to choose from.

The check-in for the hotel is at 3pm Indonesian time, so if you arrived earlier than that, they will ask you to go around the resort first and come back for check-in. Same with checking out. Check-out time is at 12nn. If your ferry back to Singapore is at 1:35pm, you have to check-out by 12nn. Their shuttle bus will leave the hotel at 12, and you have to stay and wait at Bandar Bentan Telani till the ferry departs. Angsana is just 15 minutes away from Bandar Bentan Telani.

Angsana is not designed modernistically. It is built to let its patrons have a local feel. It is a hotel close to nature, which is perfect for a relaxing vacation!

Your stay in Angsana will never be a boring one! Everyday, they have various activities for their patrons to choose from. Here is a complete guide of activities that Angsana offers all throught the week:

I joined Sunrise Yoga at 5:35am. Even though I was the only one to do yoga at that time, they still continued with the event. I had then a one-to-one yoga and my own personal instructor that time. Lucky me!

Also, I participated in their Guided Bike Tour. I am beginner level in cycling. However, the tour leader patiently waited for me. The supposed to be 1hr biking, finished at 1hr and 40 minutes.

I would want to come back again to Angsana because of various activities they offer. It is always good to stay active and adventurous!

What to do in Plaza Lagoi?

Plaza Lagoi is the only shopping mall located in the “heart” of Bintan. There is a complimentary shuttle bus that can take you to this two-storey shopping mall from Bintan Resorts hotel or Bandar Bentan Telani.

Restaurants, food court, money changer, mini-mart and retail shop can be found here. Food for hotel prices are usually expensive. If you are living frugally and want a meal for lunch and dinner that is 4x or more cheaper than the hotel price, then head to Plaza Lagoi.

In Plaza Lagoi, they have a food court called Food Gram. It is clean and has a modern look and colorful design. The food is freshly cooked and is served hot for the customers.

Nothing much to do here, but it is worth a visit if you intend to change money into Indonesian Rupiah or you want to purchase food with price way lower than what your hotel offers. Just a tip: if you are buying food here, make sure you have ample time to wait because the staff serve slow.
